What's the difference between buying an application from the Etelos Marketplace and buying it directly from the vendor?
When
you buy an application in the Etelos Marketplace, you get the same
great application you would get directly from the vendor at the same
great price (sometimes even better). You also get the added features
that come with being an Etelos Marketplace customer, such as a single
point of contact for support.
Why do some product purchase links take me to a vendor's site instead of to the Etelos shopping cart?
Etelos
works out the customer purchasing process with each partner based on
the partner's needs and the setup requirements for their application.
In some cases, Etelos will pass you to the vendor's Web site to
complete a purchase or sign up for a trial. Don't worry, if you go to
a partner's site from a link in the Etelos Marketplace, we still
consider you a Etelos Marketplace customer. That means you're eligible
for Etelos Marketplace perks such as a single point of contact for
customer support.
How do I get technical support?
There are two ways to contact our support team. First is to go to the Support page on our website and create a support ticket. The second is to send an email to support@etelos-inc.com.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. If you are passed
through to a partner site to make your purchase, the partner's accepted
payment forms may be different than ours.
Is my data safe?
Etelos
and its partners apply industry best practices to keeping your data
safe and secure. In most cases, unless you have top notch technical
talent on your staff and spend a significant portion of your time and
money on computing infrastructure, your data is safer in our
professionally run data center than it would be on your own network.
If I give you my email address, will I receive spam?
Etelos
respects the privacy of our customers. We never share your email with
others for marketing purposes. Etelos occasionally sends email to our
customers with news about new products, promotions or enhancements in
the Etelos Marketplace. Every email contains a link that allows you to
easily unsubscribe from these emails.
If
you purchase a product from an Etelos partner in the Etelos
Marketplace, we need to release your email address to the partner in
order to complete the transaction. We give you a chance to approve the
transfer of this information during the purchasing process. If you
proceed, your data will be subject to the privacy policy of the
partner. We provide links to our partners' privacy policies when we
ask for your approval so you can determine whether the partner's
privacy policy is acceptable to you. You will also be subject to a
partner's privacy policy if you sign up for an application on a
partner's site after clicking a link in the Etelos Marketplace.
