Etelos Developer Pack for iPhone - Coming Soon

I wanted to respond on my blog to all the requests for developer editions for building iPhone apps on Etelos. I did a post yesterday on building apps for the iPhone and was overwhelmed with requests for more information. So Let me get real clear about what's up at Etelos for Developers:

Coming Soon, is Never Soon Enough 

On a personal note; I was driving back from Portland to Seattle yesterday and talking about my anticipation for the final days to our new releases. I was attempting to describe the knot in my stomach of anticipation. It's the feeling that the closer I get to my vision - the angrier I get.  So I tried a new analogy on for size:

Suppose the next time you play golf, you miss your putt 2 different times;
  the first by 1 inch,
  and the second by 12 inches. 
Which are you most upset by?"

To me, it's the one inch.

The anticipation in the next few weeks is killing me. I want so much to say that support for Ruby on Etelos was available now... that our new store tools were all there... now.  Hang tight... I understand that soon is never soon enough.

Meanwhile, no reason you can't start playing with Etelos and get familiar with how this all works.
